Loc Color Services
Add-Ons & Consultations
Color Services are offered as custom enhancement add-ons to eligible loc services for clients who want to refresh, refine, or transform their look while protecting the integrity of their locs. Every color service is planned intentionally, using professional formulations designed to support long-term hair health—not rushed results.
To ensure predictable outcomes and protect both your hair and your investment, all color services begin with a required Color Consultation. This step allows us to tailor your color plan based on your hair’s unique needs and your desired result.
Color Services are ideal for clients who:
Want to enhance shine, tone, or richness in their locs
Are ready for bold, fashion-forward color
Want dimension through highlights or contrast
Thoughtful color planning
Review your color and processing history
Confirm which color service best supports your goals
Need gray blending or coverage
Are correcting uneven or previous color work
These services are best suited for clients who value:
Hair integrity over shortcuts
Customized results designed specifically for locs
Color is never applied without preparation. During your Color Consultation, we take the time to:
Assess hair length, density, porosity, and loc condition
Perform a required patch test to verify formula compatibility and client sensitivity
This process allows us to recommend the safest and most effective approach before your service is scheduled. Color services are performed with care, intention, and respect for the condition of your locs. Final service eligibility, timing, and results depend on your hair’s history and current condition. Our goal is to deliver beautiful color without compromising the health of your locs.
What to Expect Regarding Pricing & Product Use
Color services are priced to include the standard amount of professional product needed for a shoulder-length head of hair with average loc density. Because every head of locs is unique, additional product may be required for longer lengths, higher density, or corrective work. A discount code will be used if you are to use less product then the base price.
When extra product is needed, upcharges apply, and this is always discussed during consultation, so there are no surprises.
Consultations are planning sessions only and do not include shampoo, maintenance, or color application. Color services booked without consultation notes will be charged an additional fee.
Loc Color Services
All color services are offered as add-ons to eligible loc services and are priced for a full head of shoulder-length locs using standard product and processing benchmarks. Because color behaves differently on every head of locs, a required Color Consultation with a patch test on file is mandatory before any color service is booked.
Color services are planned intentionally to balance desired results, hair integrity, and realistic processing timelines.
Required Color Consultation
Every color service begins with a Color Consultation, which includes:
Review of color history and previous processing
Assessment of loc length, density, porosity, and condition
Selection of the appropriate color service and formula
A required patch test to verify formula compatibility and sensitivity
Consultations do not include shampoo, maintenance, or color application.
Color services cannot be scheduled without a completed consultation and patch test on file.
