General Loc Care Terms of Service

By booking or receiving services with Nice Locs, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms of Service.

Appointments & Booking

  • All services are by appointment only.

  • Appointments are confirmed once the required deposit or full payment is received (if applicable).

  • Please book the correct service. Booking an incorrect service may result in:

    • Additional fees

    • Reduced service scope

    • Or appointment cancellation if time does not allow

Consultations

  • Some services require a consultation prior to booking.

  • Consultations do not include shampoo or maintenance unless explicitly stated.

  • Same-day consultations may be accommodated only if time allows.

Late, Cancellation & No-Show Policy

  • A 15-minute grace period is provided.

  • Arrivals beyond 15 minutes may result in:

    • Service modification

    • Or appointment cancellation at the stylist’s discretion.

  • Same-day cancellations or reschedules are considered late cancellations.

  • No-shows will incur a fee.

  • Failure to pay no-show or late cancellation fees may result in future booking restrictions.

Payments

  • All services are non-refundable.

  • Payments must be made before or at the time of completed service, unless otherwise stated.

  • Long or multi-session services must be paid at the end of the initial service.

Redo & Adjustment Policy

  • If an adjustment is needed, it must be requested within 48 hours of the original service.

  • Adjustments do not include:

    • Change of mind

    • Style preference changes

    • Lack of aftercare

    All requests must be made in writing with provided proof of need through photos and video. An in-person confirmation may be required to approve the service being redone.

Health, Hair Condition & Disclosure

  • Clients must disclose:

    • Scalp conditions

    • Allergies

    • Recent chemical services

    • Medical or sensory needs that may affect service

  • Nice Locs reserves the right to decline or modify services if hair or scalp health may be compromised.

Guests & Environment

  • No guests are permitted unless previously approved.

  • Due to limited space and focus on service quality, children are not allowed unless they are the client being serviced.

  • All clients are expected to maintain a professional and respectful demeanor.

Time & Service Limits

  • Appointments cannot exceed the scheduled service time.

  • Additional time required due to hair condition, density, length, or late arrival may incur additional fees.

  • Services requiring excessive detangling, repair, or correction may be re-quoted or rescheduled.

Products, Jewelry & Add-Ons

  • All specialty products, jewelry, extensions, or accessories are not included unless stated.

  • Add-ons must be approved and paid for before installation.

Refusal of Service

Nice Locs reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service for:

  • Unsafe or unsanitary conditions

  • Aggressive, inappropriate, or disrespectful behavior

  • Failure to follow policies

No refunds will be issued if a service is stopped due to policy violations.

Media & Marketing

  • Photos or videos of completed work may be taken for portfolio and marketing purposes unless the client opts out in writing before service begins.

Agreement

By booking with Nice Locs, you confirm that you:

  • Have read and understood these Terms of Service

  • Agree to abide by all policies

  • Accept responsibility for proper aftercare and maintenance
