These Terms of Service apply to all specialized hair services provided by Nice Locs, including but not limited to:

• Loc Extension Services

• Loc Color Services (including grey blending, grey coverage, and color correction)

• Crochet Loc Services

• Hair Growth Restoration Services

Specialized services involve advanced techniques, chemical processes, or corrective work and require additional disclosures, approvals, and client responsibility.

Consultations & Patch Test Requirement (Mandatory)

• All specialized services require a consultation.

• Loc color services and crochet services require BOTH:

  • A completed consultation, and

  • A patch test on file prior to service approval.

Patch tests are required to:

• Assess scalp sensitivity

• Reduce the risk of allergic reaction

• Evaluate hair response to color, chemicals, or manipulation

Services will not be performed without an approved consultation and patch test on file.

General Specialized Service Expectations

• Results vary based on:

  • Hair history

  • Texture and density

  • Loc maturity

  • Prior chemical or mechanical services

  • Home care compliance

• Inspiration photos are used as reference only.

• Multiple sessions may be required depending on the service.

Loc Extension Services – Terms

Service Scope

Loc extension services involve the addition of hair to:

• Lengthen existing locs

• Repair breakage

• Reconstruct damaged or missing sections

Extensions may be installed using crochet, interlock, or other approved attachment methods.

Extension Hair Source & Preparation

• Loc extension services are priced separately from salon-provided extension hair.

• When extension hair is not purchased through Nice Locs:

  • Hair must be dropped off at least 24 hours prior to the appointment for preparation and inspection.

  • If hair is not dropped off in advance, prep time will be added to the service and billed to the client.

Unprepared hair may result in:

• Added service time and cost

• Service modification

• Or rescheduling if time does not allow

Approval & Limitations

• Extensions are not automatically approved.

• Services may be declined if:

  • Locs are structurally weak

  • Hair density cannot support extensions

  • Scalp health is compromised

Extensions are designed to blend and mature over time, not appear instantly seamless.

Slippage, Shedding & Adjustment

• Minor slippage or texture change may occur as locs mature.

• Slippage caused by:

  • Over-manipulation

  • Excessive moisture

  • Improper aftercare

Correction Guarantee

• Corrections are guaranteed only if Nice Locs is the sole stylist performing maintenance or adjustments.

• If another stylist manipulates or alters the extensions, the guarantee is void.

Loc Color Services – Terms

• Permanent color

• Demi-permanent color

• Lightening services

• Grey blending

• Grey coverage

• Color correction

All color services involve chemical processing and require a consultation and patch test on file.

Eligibility & Limitations

• Not all locs are eligible for color services.

• Color services may be declined if:

  • Locs are too young

  • Hair shows excessive dryness or damage

  • Prior color history compromises integrity

Maintenance, Fading & Corrections

  • Are not guaranteed in one appointment

Crochet Loc Services – Terms

Expectations & Results

• Growth restoration requires consistency and time.

• Visible improvement may take months.

• No timeline or regrowth rate is guaranteed.

Client Responsibility

Clients must:

• Follow recommended care plans

• Maintain scheduled appointments

• Disclose medications or conditions affecting hair health

Non-compliance may limit results.

Payments, Refunds & Adjustments

• All specialized services are non-refundable.

• Results are not guaranteed.

• Adjustments do not include:

  • Change of mind
