Membership Terms of Service Terms of Service

These terms apply to all maintenance memberships offered by Nice Locs, including microloc retie and traditional interloc maintenance memberships.

Memberships are structured to support consistent care, predictable scheduling, and healthy long-term loc maintenance. By purchasing a membership, clients agree to the terms below.

Each membership is tied to:

  • One maintenance method

  • One crown size (full or partial)

  • One term length

Memberships cannot be swapped between methods, resized, or converted into other services.

Billing & Membership Use

  • Memberships are billed according to the selected term.

  • Purchasing a membership reserves ongoing service availability during that period.

  • Membership pricing reflects bundled maintenance care and priority access.

Appointments must be booked within the active membership window.

Expiration & Missed Appointments

  • Unused services expire.

  • Services do not roll over or accumulate beyond the membership term.

  • Missed appointments, late cancellations, or unused visits are considered used for that period.

Members are responsible for scheduling within the appropriate timeframe.

Refunds, Cancellations & Pausing

  • Memberships are non-refundable.

  • Services already completed are never refundable.

Pausing a Membership

A membership may be paused only when:

  • Nice Locs is notified within 24 hours of the most recent payment OR the most recent completed service, whichever occurred last.

If approved:

  • Up to 50% of the remaining unused value may be refunded.

  • No completed services are refunded under any circumstance.

Requests outside this window are not eligible for pause or refund consideration.

Transferability

  • Memberships are non-transferable.

  • Memberships cannot be shared, reassigned, or gifted.

  • Gift certificates will be offered separately.

Eligibility to Continue Membership Services

Membership services remain active as long as:

  • Hair and scalp health support continued maintenance

  • Appointments are kept within appropriate intervals

  • Salon policies are followed

If continued service would compromise hair health, Nice Locs may pause or modify membership use.

Policy Violations

If salon policies are violated:

  • A fee may be applied, or

  • The client may be asked to leave, depending on severity.

If a client is asked to leave:

  • The appointment is charged as if completed

  • That membership visit is considered used

Serious or repeated violations may result in membership termination without refund.

Results & Expectations

Memberships support consistency, not guaranteed outcomes.

Results vary based on:

  • Hair type and density

  • Growth rate

  • Home care habits

  • Maintenance timing

No specific visual or aesthetic result is guaranteed.

Member Agreement

By purchasing a Nice Locs membership, the client acknowledges that:

  • Membership services must be used within the active term

  • Unused services expire

  • Memberships are non-refundable

  • Pausing is limited and time-sensitive

  • Memberships are non-transferable

  • Policy violations may result in loss of access without refund
